Men’s shoe trends for spring/summer 2024 The new Pius Gabor collection

Spring is a season of change, and it’s all change for men’s shoes as the S/S 2024 season marks a move towards more chic, elegant looks. Business wear is becoming more prominent, and more stylish takes on leisure attire are in demand. What hasn’t changed, however, are the quality and comfort that are the core features of Pius Gabor footwear.

The brand stands for expertise in men’s shoes, delivering a perfect fit and comfortable features such as Super Flex soles or latex footbeds. The high-quality, certified leather used in these models is carefully worked to create a shoe that is fashionable, sustainable and hard-wearing.

The new Pius Gabor spring/summer collection combines these standards with fresh designs in its range of casual trainers, elegant lace-ups, summery slip-ons and clogs.

Pius Gabor shoes are available in UK sizes 6 to 14 (approximately equivalent to European sizes 39 to 49.5), including half sizes. The collection is priced in the €99.00 to €150.00 range.

Styles to suit every occasion are what men who want something on-trend yet classic are looking for – and the new S/S collection is informed by this marriage of cool with casual or formal styles.

Be cool – with stylish streetwear
Trainers with an athletic look are a perennial favourite for leisure time. White skater-style trainers are roaring back into fashion and getting an upgrade: instead of a pure white look, the new models feature a sharp mix of materials with colour accents.

Be casual – with a relaxed heritage look
The classics are being given a makeover. Retro-style trainers add individual flair, and in S/S 24 they’re being infused with even more character. Their visible seams and partly recycled TR soles make them a visual standout, while the interior lining made from 92% recycled polyester lends them fantastic sustainability credentials.

Clean colours such as beige, grey and brown deliver a traditional sense of charm, and breathable mesh coupled with wide running soles add an athletic quality.

Be formal – business chic
Slicker business looks are all the rage, such as elegant loafers whose timeless cut is reminiscent of moccasin styles. Their smooth, high-quality leather and thicker sole, however, make them just as ideal a choice as a classic dress shoe.

Stylish city loafers with athletic-style soles deliver an outstanding combination of casual and chic. Especially in the summer months, lightweight low shoes are a great choice – and wearers can comfortably go barefoot in this option featuring a light lining.

The new collection emphasises combinations of different footwear types. Smart lace-ups, for example, have been redesigned to incorporate more sporty elements, creating a hybrid with a unique personality. Elegant city looks are fusing with the comfortable fit of trainers.

Materials
The quality of the shoes is emphasised through the choice of tried-and-tested, high-quality materials – such as fine suede, nubuck and smooth leather. All the leathers used are certified and originate largely from Portugal or Italy. The shoes are lined with a light microfibre material that regulates moisture, making it ideal for the warmer seasons of the year.

Features
Pius Gabor achieves its outstanding feel through its specially developed features:

Bases and soles
Lightweight EVA soles make trainers and slip-ons extra comfortable to wear. Super Flex technology also delivers superior comfort, with indentations throughout that support roll-over at every step – for maximum performance.

Interchangeable footbeds
Every shoe features a comfortable footbed that can be removed and swapped out. Our latex footbed with OnSteam insole creates added comfort on hot days by allowing the feet to breathe and absorbing 100% of moisture.

Cork layer in Pius Gabor shoes

Remnants from bottle cork production are ideal for use in shoes, which is why we have built in an additional cork layer under the insole. Using this recycled material saves resources and allows for natural temperature regulation inside the shoe.

Sustainability
Fast fashion? That’s not our style. Pius Gabor shoes are built to last and adhere to strict manufacturing standards: all the leathers we use come from tanneries that are certified to recognised LWG (Leather Working Group) standards. Recycled cork midsoles and a microfibre lining – sourced from Portugal and made of 92% recycled polyester – cut down on resources.
