Normal leg
Normal Shank are boots with a medium shank-width. This does not mean, however, that the width is the same for all sizes. A greater shoe size usually also requires a wider shank. With over 50 years of experience, hardly anyone knows their customers legs as well as Gabor does. This experience is entered into size-tables so each boot has the right shank-width for the size. This is of course not only true for Normal Shank but similarly for Wide Shank, Extra Wide Shank, etc.
Wide leg
No woman is like any other. Each leg is shaped differently. Wide shank high-boots provide extra room for the athletic calf. Many Gabor wide high-boots come with additional features for a perfect fit: Elastic bands, stretch material or adjustable flaps guarantee maximum comfort.
Extra-wide leg
Extra wide shanks provide maximum comfort for more sturdy lower legs. Like the wide shank high-boots, the extra wide shank high-boots come with additional features for a perfect fit: Elastic bands, stretch material or adjustable flaps guarantee maximum comfort.
Vario Width
Vario Width is the name of a flexible individual shank-width system for high-boots. Depending on the model, this is achieved for instance by elastic inserts, adjustable buckles or lacing. The boots adjust to different leg shapes or wearing occasions: Wear your trouser cuffs inside or outside of the boots as you please. The boot will always fit perfectly!
Warm lined
For shoes with a warm lining, Gabor uses only select material: Real lambskin, cosy and in top quality, or high-tech warm lining that will never scratch and features antibacterial treatment. Unpleasant smells have no chance to develop. Warm feet when it is getting cold outside.
Articulated
A special sole makes the shoe follow perfectly the natural rolling motion of the foot. While the shoe is extremely flexible at the toes, it will remain warp-free at the instep or the heel. This allows the foot to roll naturally and safely. The result: A feeling almost like walking bare-foot.
Extra Comfort with Width G
With the „comfort“ line of products, Gabor offers shoes in widths G (slight extra width) and H (comfortable extra width). This means that these shoes have extra volume in the ball and instep areas and provide any foot with the room it needs.

Larger Sizes
Gabor offers certain models in larger sizes (i.e. sizes 8 ½ zo 9 ½ or 43 to 44)
Integrated Footbeds
Integrated footbeds adapt to the individual anatomy of the foot. This results in a marvellous wearing feeling and extra support. You will find Integrated footbeds in many Gabor Dianettes and Sandalettes.
Removable Inner Sole
Removable inner soles are available from Gabor in two varieties: Particularly light and comfortable in leather or made of high-tech material with the Ultra Flex Air System. The Ultra Flex Air System features air ducts providing regulated ventilation and a fresh climate for the foot. Some models feature the Shock Point, an additional cushioning element at the heels for singularly joint-friendly walk.
Removable inner soles can be removed for airing and washing. Removable inner soles are particularly beneficial for those using orthopaedic supports, as the existing inner sole can simply be replaced by the support. Thus, shoes will not be too narrow when using orthopaedic supports.
