Quality Assurance
Making-up matters
A Gabor shoe consists of approx. 240 individual parts that are fitted together in 140 work steps. In Gabor shoes the edges are folded free from pressure points (“beaded”) and the seams cushioned so that no pressure points arise. For the lining extreme care is taken over wrinkle-free incorporation. Additional reinforcing parts prevent the upper becoming overstretched or tearing during wear. They support without stiffening. The high-quality soft working-up is a prerequisite for optimum comfort and an essential quality criterion of Gabor shoes.
The finest material, high-quality production
Quality assurance starts right from the careful selection of the materials and accompanies all 140 work steps. Thus for example the leather is tested individually by the specialist for feel, tensile strength, defects (e.g. thorn scratches etc.), uniform thickness and pigmentation before the parts are professionally cut from the best piece of the skin. The best material and excellent workmanship are the guarantee for high-quality Gabor shoes.
